I think my current favorite product is Stampin’ Up!’s Adhesive Remover – it saved my Color Coach. I am not the neatest person, especially when I craft, and sometimes I leave things on my desk that I shouldn’t. Like a sheet of Stampin’ Dimensionals that have lost their protective paper coating, so the adhesive on top is exposed. And then I may accidentally set down my Color Coach on top of the Dimensionals and then not notice for, say, a week or two.
When I did finally realize what I’d done, this is what I discovered:
I was able to pull the foam off the Color Coach card, but an icky trail of adhesive goo was left. Yuck!
I remembered my Adhesive Remover and pulled it out to see if I’d be able to remove at least a portion of the goo. In less than a minute, I was able to remove ALL traces of the Stampin’ Dimensionals from my Color Coach card. Hooray! Now the only evidence of my mistake are the pictures in this blog post and me confessing to it!
I’m so glad I had the adhesive remover in my stamping arsenal. Want one of your own? I store all my 8.5 x 11 paper in a file cabinet. I love the ease of being able to toss scraps and full sheets together into one labeled file folder – it keeps everything in one place and makes it much easier for me to find what I’m looking for.
A few years ago I made folder labels for my files and I finally found that original document tonight so I updated it with the current color families and both sets of In-Colors. I’ve saved the file as a PDF, so feel free to print it out yourself. These labels are sized to print onto adhesive address labels that measure 1 x 2-5/8″ and come 30 to a sheet (Avery 5160/8160 or other similar styles). Print them off, pop them onto file folders, and you are on your way to organized bliss.
The magnetic Big Shot platform is the very first thing that I ordered from the new catalog yesterday and I can’t wait for it to get here! I love the framelits, but sometimes it is so difficult to get them arranged correctly and I was going through packs of post-it notes trying to keep my stamped images and framelits aligned. The magnetic platform is going to make my life so much easier!

My son is obsessed with the Angry Bird game, so, of course, we had to have an Angry Bird themed party this year. I made punch art invitations for the front of the invitation, but used My Digital Studio to create the inside with all the information. This worked out to my advantage because my son woke up sick on the day of his party and we had to postpone it. Since I’d used MDS to create the page with all the party details on it, I was able to just fire up my computer, add the word “rescheduled”, changed the date and time, and print out another round of invites in a matter of minutes.
Stampin’ Up!’s biggest sale of the year, Sale-a-Bration is ending this week. I decided today that there was just enough time this week to squeeze in one last hurrah, so I’m having a “goodbye Sale-A-Bration” open house on Friday night from 6-9PM.
