Tins!

Did you know that Stampin’ Up is selling some of their turquoise punch box tins for the holidays? They’ll make great packaging for those special hand-made gifts and then can be recycled into other uses. Here’s just a few uses for the tins:

You could store:

  • Extra cards
  • Ribbons
  • Paper scraps
  • Ink refills
  • Punches
  • Adhesives
  • Scissors
  • Glitter
  • Two heat tools
  • Embossing powder
  • Beads
  • Buttons
  • Eyelets
  • Markers, blender pens, and aquapainters

Other uses:

  • Jewelry Box
  • Pencils, pens, crayons storage
  • Candy box
  • First aid kit
  • Small sewing items
  • Recipes
  • Hair clips, ponytail holders
  • Nails and screws
  • Small tool box
  • Small toys
  • Sentimental keepsakes
  • Get well tin filled with cookies or packets of chicken soup

Today I took my Crop-a-dile and punched through the tin to make holes for eyelets. I then set a couple jumbo eyelets into the top, threaded through some ribbon, lined the bottom with designer series paper and made a cute bag! The possibilities are endless.

Tins are only on sale for a limited time, so let me know if you need a few for your own crafting.
