Here’s another project that we made at a workshop earlier this month. The hostess wanted some ideas for favors for her sons’ upcoming birthday party and I immediately thought of making glow-in-the-dark stars. This was an idea that I’d seen at the Stampin’ Up Regional convention this past October and I’d been dying to try it. The version shown at Regionals used balsa wood, craft ink, and the Big Shot die cut machine, but I modified mine some to use paper and punches instead. I prepared the paper ahead of time by painting on two coats of glow-in-the-dark paint onto scrap paper and letting it dry. Then at the workshop, we just had to punch out star shapes and decorate our gift bags.

Stamps: Pun Fun
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Confetti White, Baja Breeze, and Bashful Blue
Ink: Basic Black, Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, Tangerine Tango
Accessories: Blender Pen, Small Cello Bags, Top Note Die, Big Shot Die Cut machine, Star Punch, Large Star Punch, SNAIL adhesive
