Lollipop flowers

I saw a version of this card on the Stampin’ Up demonstrator site, Stampin’ Connection, and I knew I had to make it. It just makes me smile to look at it, so I can only imagine the happiness it will bring the recipient. Many thanks to Mary Brown for posting her card so that I could be inspired!

The cardstock is Whisper White, Peach Parfait, Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie and Early Espresso. We ran a sheet of Whisper White cardstock through the Big Shot with the dots from the Backgrounds I Texturz Plates to give it a little texture. Then we mounted that to a Whisper White cardstock card base. The flowers were made with various circle punches in sizes from 1-3/8 inches down to the bitty circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack. We embellished the flowers with stamps from the Itty Bitty Bits stamp set, Itty Bitty Buttons tied with linen thread, Flower Brads, and Circle Fire Rhinestone Brads. The stems were stamped with the flower from the Sweetheart Stamp set – we just inked the stem with the Early Espresso marker and omitted the leaves. Bows were made from the 1/8″ Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon.

Cards were finished with phrases from the Teeny Tiny Words stamp set – one of my favorites. I love that I can stamp cards for every occasion with one stamp set. And they were all tiny enough to fit within the Word Window punch and then mounted to a Modern Label punch piece.
