Holiday Thank You Card

It’s a littler later than I like, but I was able to get my Christmas thank you cards made and written this evening. I used to not even use a gift until the thank yous had been sent, but I’ve had to relax my rules after last year. A new day job and a second child really rocked my world!

Continuing on my mission to use up all the extra things in my craft room this year, I made this card using some scraps from the Holiday Mini Frostwood Lodge DSP. At the last class I held in November, we made this as one of our cards but it had Christmas-y stamped images and the words “Merry Christmas” instead. It was easy to recreate for thank yous tonight, since I just had to swap the words and choose stamps that had a more winter, rather than Christmas, feel. I also changed the card base up from my original — these were leftover bases from my reindeer Christmas cards.

Supplies:
Stamps: Short & Sweet, Jolly Bingo Bits
Ink: Marina Mist, Chocolate Chip, Cherry Cobbler
Paper: Frostwood Lodge DSP (retired), Marina Mist, Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler
Extras: 1″ Square Punch, SNAIL adhesive
