Convention 2012 – Punch Clown Swap

I participated in an organized swap at convention that consisted of punch art – things created using Stampin’ Up! punches.

I made a clown for my swaps. Didn’t seem like a big deal when I was making one, but boy was I tired of punching and gluing by the time I had 51 of them made. If you are a Facebook Fan of mine, you followed along with my clown building progress late into the night for several nights in a row. If you aren’t a Fan yet, click over on the right side and follow me. I often post while sleep deprived, which can make for silly photos.

I also provided instructions for making the clown, but there was no way I was going to punch out even more pieces to show how to make him. So I cheated. I used My Digital Studio to make a “recipe card” for my little clown. It was so easy design in MDS and then just hit print!

Sadly, I haven’t taken the time to give a good look to all the wonderful swaps I received in return for my little clown. But with Sunday being “Swap Sunday” here on my blog, maybe we’ll get a peek at them together tomorrow.
