Swap Sunday: Adhesive Holder

Before the opening session at Convention, I enjoyed chatting with the ladies around me and oohing and aahing over the swaps they’d received. One lady pulled out a trio of PVC couplers decorated in DSP and all of us squealed.

We squealed, not because we thought they were pretty plumbing supplies, but because we saw the other use for them. They were adhesive holders! A unique way to store your supplies and keep the tips of the bottles amply moistened.

We all demanded to know which demonstrator she swapped with to receive such a treat, but the holders weren’t marked with a name so we weren’t able to track down who had made them.

Flash forward to lunchtime, and I found a table with an empty seat and asked to sit down. During lunch, talk turned to swaps (as it often does), and everyone with swaps to trade pulled them out. Imagine my delight when I found out that I had sat down next to the creator of the adhesive holder. I was able to get one of my very own! She still didn’t have them marked with her name, but I was able to snap a picture of her name tag so that I’d be able to tell people who had made them. Unfortunately, her name tag only had her first name on it, so I’m not able to give her full credit. But I do thank Penny for her very creative and practical swap!
