Candy Roll

I’m playing catchup this week and as I crawl out from under my mountain of crafting supplies, I thought I’d share some of the projects I made in the past few weeks.

This is a Pinterest-inspired candy roll. I upcycled a cardboard tube with DSP, filled it with candy, and wrapped it with a . . . → Read More: Candy Roll

Treats for Boo! – Upcycled Toilet Paper Roll

At first, using toilet paper rolls in crafts sort of gave me the heeby-jeebies. But then Pinterest wore me down. After seeing pages upon pages of pins with these plentiful cardboard tubes I gave in. I made a toilet paper craft. And I’m in love!

I also tried to resist making anything Halloween themed . . . → Read More: Treats for Boo! – Upcycled Toilet Paper Roll

I have had a little bag of Easter candy hidden away for a friend for months. On many occasions I’ve resisted the temptation to eat that sweet, candy-coated egg-shaped goodness myself.

I wasn’t exactly sure when I’d give it to her, but I knew that chance summertime meetings would not be a good time since . . . → Read More: Rotten

August Class Project – Candy Pencil

I’ve made these chocolate candy pencils before, but they were so cute I thought I’d make them again for August’s class. They make a great “first day of school” present for teachers.

Stamps: Perfectly Preserved Ink: Real Red, Garden Green, Basic Black Paper: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Pretty in Pink, Garden Green cardstocks . . . → Read More: August Class Project – Candy Pencil

I only have eyes for you

I’m not a mushy romantic. But it being the season of love and all, I decided to branch out and try something new. So I decided that I’d make a few little love notes to hide for my sweetie this week. I started with a little tag and baggie of candy which I stashed in . . . → Read More: I only have eyes for you

I’m so thankful for my customers. I like to show my appreciation and try to put in some goodies with each order I deliver.

Last week’s orders included a 1X8 Cello bag filled with Cadbury chocolates and a topper made with the adorable Gift Givers Thanksgiving turkey topper. I punched the white topper with the . . . → Read More: Thankful

13 Days of Halloween – Day 3

This was a quick and easy gift, made with the Big Shot die cut machine and the milk carton die. I used my Stampin’ Write markers to color in the pumpkin stamp and punched it out with my Curly Label Die. I also use the Big Shot and the Movers and Shakers die to create . . . → Read More: 13 Days of Halloween – Day 3

13 Days of Halloween – Day 2

This is one of my most favorite little boxes. So cute and simple to make. It’s a triangle box made of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. The front is decorated with three strips of cardstock to make it look like candy corn. You can hide a handful of candy inside the box, and then just tie it . . . → Read More: 13 Days of Halloween – Day 2

13 Days of Halloween – Day 1

I think Halloween is my most favorite holiady. So to celebrate this year, I’m going to do a “13 Days of Halloween” blog-a-thon. Yes, I’m actually committing to posting 13 days in a row.

My first Halloween themed project is a Pixie Stick (or pencil, if you aren’t into tubes of sugar) holder. I . . . → Read More: 13 Days of Halloween – Day 1

Valentine’s Bouquet

Flowers are nice, but a bouquet of chocolate is much more my style. I made this pretty arrangement for the staff at my children’s school as a thank you for taking such good care of the kids. It came together quite easily with the help of my Big Shot.
