Pretty Flower

I can’t remember where I found this card idea, but I loved it and had to make it as soon as I saw it. As is the pattern lately, I got to use up some flowers from the Pretties kit that I’d been hoarding. I love the faux-bow, so much easier than tying.

Fresh Cuts

I have had the Fresh Cuts stamp set and matching die cut note cards for a long time and have been too hesitant to use the note cards. But I pushed past the fear (of using them up? of messing them up?) and made these darling thank yous.

Click on the photo album below to see pictures of the swaps and examples from the August meeting of my demonstrator’s group. If you’d like to attend a meeting sometime, I’d be happy to talk with you about joining in.

Bookmark

I first made this bookmark at Stampin’ Up’s annual convention last year. I’d been wanting to make more, but the project always moved to the back burner for one reason or another. Finally, I made them! I updated it to use current in-colors and I’m really loving how they go together. This one uses my . . . → Read More: Bookmark

Test Tube Treats

I’m in a massive decluttering phase. I have collected too much stuff in the four years I’ve been in my home and I’ve finally found a home for almost all of it. The house is actually in order! As I was getting my “crafty room” cleaned a few weeks ago I filled a hutch with . . . → Read More: Test Tube Treats

Tool Workstation

I’ve been organizing my stamp room and have repurposed an old microwave cart into this cool tool workstation.

I keep my Bigz dies in the box that the Serif Essentials set came in. It’s handy to keep them vertical so I can easily see their label. I also found that the Forget-Me-Not keeper box . . . → Read More: Tool Workstation

Rock Star!

I made this card for a swap with my local demonstrator group. I used the Rock Star stamp from the Hostess set “A Little Somethin’”, the new Texturz plates for the Big Shot, and the faux metal technique. So much fun!

Glowing

Here’s another project that we made at a workshop earlier this month. The hostess wanted some ideas for favors for her sons’ upcoming birthday party and I immediately thought of making glow-in-the-dark stars. This was an idea that I’d seen at the Stampin’ Up Regional convention this past October and I’d been dying to try . . . → Read More: Glowing

Wall-E

One of my hostesses mentioned that her sons wanted a Wall-E themed birthday party and wondered if I had any ideas for making invitations. Since I love punches, I thought I could use them to design a card for her. I’ve never seen Wall-E (although I do own the DVD), so I had to go . . . → Read More: Wall-E

Scrapping/Stamping Retreat!

I’m working with some of my fellow demonstrators to put on a stamping retreat on Saturday February 28th! There will be three classes and lunch, and then you stay the rest of the day to work on your own projects. You can sign up to come to classes either in the morning (9am-12pm) or the . . . → Read More: Scrapping/Stamping Retreat!
