Pumpkin Cookies

My older son’s school has “Wonderful Wednesdays” where each class takes turns providing snacks for the faculty and staff. It was our turn to provide the snack this week. Since this is our first year at the school, I wasn’t sure exactly what to make but the guidelines said it should be something easy for . . . → Read More: Pumpkin Cookies

A “corny” ghost

When I received my Cannery Set framelits, I immediately wondered how “out of the box” I could get with the designs. Yes, they perfectly coordinate with the Perfectly Preserved stamp set (yay!), but how else could I use them? It didn’t take me long to find Halloween shapes in the images, and thus this “corny” . . . → Read More: A “corny” ghost

Smell My Feet

For the most part, I’m excited to watch my littlest child grow. I love that he’s left the baby stage and is a little human with his own opinions. I especially love that he finally has a few words to help me know what he wants. Sure beats the scream-communication method that he’s been mastering . . . → Read More: Smell My Feet

Treats for Boo! – Upcycled Toilet Paper Roll

At first, using toilet paper rolls in crafts sort of gave me the heeby-jeebies. But then Pinterest wore me down. After seeing pages upon pages of pins with these plentiful cardboard tubes I gave in. I made a toilet paper craft. And I’m in love!

I also tried to resist making anything Halloween themed . . . → Read More: Treats for Boo! – Upcycled Toilet Paper Roll

My Digital Studio Monday: Halloween Circles

The Stampin’ Up! convention usually has a video contest, where demonstrators submit commercials for a Stampin’ Up! event or product. I decided to enter this year and made a video about My Digital Studio. It didn’t win the contest, but I did get a completed scrapbook page done as part of my video making process . . . → Read More: My Digital Studio Monday: Halloween Circles

13 Days of Halloween – Day 3

This was a quick and easy gift, made with the Big Shot die cut machine and the milk carton die. I used my Stampin’ Write markers to color in the pumpkin stamp and punched it out with my Curly Label Die. I also use the Big Shot and the Movers and Shakers die to create . . . → Read More: 13 Days of Halloween – Day 3

13 Days of Halloween – Day 2

This is one of my most favorite little boxes. So cute and simple to make. It’s a triangle box made of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. The front is decorated with three strips of cardstock to make it look like candy corn. You can hide a handful of candy inside the box, and then just tie it . . . → Read More: 13 Days of Halloween – Day 2

13 Days of Halloween – Day 1

I think Halloween is my most favorite holiady. So to celebrate this year, I’m going to do a “13 Days of Halloween” blog-a-thon. Yes, I’m actually committing to posting 13 days in a row.

My first Halloween themed project is a Pixie Stick (or pencil, if you aren’t into tubes of sugar) holder. I . . . → Read More: 13 Days of Halloween – Day 1
